Anda is one of the most popular singers in Romania. She had her debut in music at the age of 16, when she recorded the song Nu ma uita/ Don’t forget me with the rap singers R.A.C.L.A. The song was a national hit and opened the door for a number of collaborations. She continued singing with rap and Hip-Hop artists, but her personal style and passion was R&B. The song Ca intre Fete/ Between us girls released by a famous hip hop singer featured the young artist -Anda Adam. Three years after her debut, all the hard work and passion came to shape: the first solo album Doar cu tine/ Only with you. At the beginning of 2003 the Romanian music scene lacked r&b artists, but Anda managed to fill that space with a great album. She focused on her music, working continuously to improve her voice and technique. A new project got Anda in the recording studio the very next year. Working with one of Romania’s best composer and producer- Marius Moga- the singer reached a new level in her singing career. The album called Confidential released in 2005 is a perfect blend on r&b and dance rythms. The first song released from the album- Selecta featured a brand new young artist- Alex Velea. It was an instant hit, and one of the most played song on radio and tv that year. From the same album two more songs were promoted Nai Nai and Ajutor/ Help.
In 2007 Anda Adam goes platinum and is nominated Best Solo artist at the Romanian Music Awards. The album was a great success for the singer and it placed her as one of the best artists in Romania.
If in the beginning the main direction was R&B, as time goes by more dance influences are found in her songs. Always original in style and look Anda is a beautiful performer.
In 2009, the album Queen of hearts was released. A pop- dance compilation with strong r&b accents. The first hit of the album was the song Punani, followed by Opriti planeta- Stop the planet from spinning, Tell me yes, tell me no. The album was popular in the clubs and discos due to the amazing dance sound.
The album Show me in 2010. The single Show me was no. 1 in Asia and Dubai. In New York she performed in front of 3000 people in “Terminal 5 club”. Many famous artists like Lady Gaga, Adele or Snoop Dog performed in the same club.In 2011 she is nominated for top hit at the MTV - Romanian Music Awards with the song Show me. For the summer of 2011 Anda prepared a hot new video for her fans. The single Feel was released in may and it was immediately no.1 in Lithuania. In July Anda won Best Dance Act Award at the Online Music Awards in Great Britain.
Anda is a complete artist, singer and dancer. Her success is due to talent, perseverence and love for music.
