Born on the seaside on 19th october 1984, Claudia was a talented child. At age 7 started taking music lessons. She trained her voice and at age 15 she was ready to start her music career. The girl band Candy was the first project and had success with pop- dance songs, but Claudia decided to focus all her attention on building a solo career. She started working on her first album under the name “Cream”. In 2002 the single Mai aproape/ closer was released from the album Crede in mine/ believe in me.
Claudia didn’t stop here and in only one year the second solo album Astep/ I’m waiting was released. From this album two songs were promoted Inchide ochii/ Close your eyes and Jumatatea mea/ Half of me in collaboration with the band “Simplu”. The song was a big hit and it showed the public a more mature and romantic side of Claudia.
The third album Te vreau/ I want you was released on the first day of 2005, and this opened the way to a successful year in Claudia’ s career. From the album one song was promoted Nu din prima seara/ Not on the first night. A very catchy song with funny lyrics and a great video. The song featured C.R.B.L, bringing a little extra spice to the cream flavour. The song was extremely popular because it speaks directly to teenagers ... wait until the time is right!
For the next album in 2006 Cream took on a daring project. She recorded an entire album of 10 songs and one remix in just 48 hours. She worked with the producer Marius Moga an the album is called 48H. From this album two singles were released Cantecul inimii/ Song for the heart and Stiu ce-ti place/ Vanilla Cream featuring the artist Matteo. Finishing the 48H album, Claudia traveld to Germany, Sweden, Great Britain and the United States, recording her album and perfecting her style and in 2008 she returns with the best album so far. A fresh new look and most important, a great new sound. On this album Claudia worked with international artist and producers, like Fatman Scoop, Marcus Brosch and Tobias Lundgren and the producing team of the band ABBA.The sound is modern, positive and an invitation to dance.
The first song released from the album Wrong girl for that is called Candy. A club song that hit the top positions in the Romanian charts and was very popular in clubs for most of the year.
In the United States Claudia became popular with the second release from the album Just a little bit. A dance song with rap accents from Fatman Scoop that was on the playlist of every club in Miami. In Romania it was an instant success, and the energy of the song got everybody dancing.
For 2009 she saved a very romantic song Don’t miss missing you, and as the fans say, one of the best songs ever. It was number 1 in Romania and one of the most played songs in 2010. The video was produced by Marvin A. Smith who also worked with Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson and Britney Spears.
The same year Claudia was awarded Best Unplugged performer at the Romanian Music Awards. The album is complete and complex, released in 10 countries.
In 2011 Claudia is a contestant at Eurovision with a brand new single I want you to want me. The song has a strong message and a modern line, and is one of the favorites in the contest. On youtube it is number one based on number of viewers.
