DJ Andy is the good vibe generator. His name first became known outside the clubs in 2001 when, under the name SVR 4, he released the first song on the compilation Mouse in House volume 3. The published songs on all the following albums until the last one- Number 7.
Dj Andy had many collaborations with national and international artists such as: The underdog Project - I can’t handle it; Tomcraft- Lonliness; ATB - 9 PM(Till I come); Jimmy Somerville- Safe; Dina Vass - The Love i have; Faithless - Insomnia
Official remixes for romanian artists such as : Morandi - Bejo; Vali Barbulescu feat Dax - Safe sex; DJ Raoul- Am atins un nor; Simplu - Provocarea.
A big hit was DJ Andy’s remix for the song Tou Es Foutu by Ingrid in 2003. The same year DJ Andy launched a fresh new project called W.Y.D. Under this brand the song Aripi sa pot zbura/ Wings so i can fly became a hit in 2004 on Romanian radio stations and tv.
As an rising DJ, Andy became the producer of the show Request 629 - on radio Deea - the first house radio station in Romania. Later, when the song Rupturewort came out- his name was on the Djuma Sounsystem chart, the 10th position, overcoming artists like Booka Shade and Djuma Soundsystem.
In 2006 the first DJ Andy album was finally released. 4 the first time got DJ Andi the Best Newcomer Award at Nights.ro 2007, the most important Romanian award in the house music industry. The single that named the album was on the first position in the Romanian music charts for several weeks. DJ Andy released Slow Down in 2006 and Fire in 2007, both songs introducing a fresh new voice: Stella. The song Fire got DJ Andi nominated to the Best DJ award - at Romanian Music Awards in 2008.
Stella is a young singer with powerful voice and great look. Together with DJ Andi they created the perfect receipt for hit songs like Freedom 2009 and Happiness 2010.
He is in the TOP 10- Best DJ’s in the country, and performed on events like: Liberty Parade 2005-2010; Peninsula Festival 2007; Green Tour 2008 (with artists like Tom Novy, Djuma Soundsystem, Paolo Modjo and many more); Vibe FM launch party 2008; Tiesto Warm-up at Chisinau in 2009.
