Geo da Silva has been present on the club scene since 1994. He started as a DJ in local clubs and in the year 2000 he started performing as an MC in one of the seaside’s most popular discos. The same year Geo is Resident DJ and event manager in one of Timisoara’s biggest clubs - Discoland.
The concept he created Thursday Student Power Night is popular to this day and was picked up by all the local clubs. Geo Da Silva became one of the best DJ and MC in the country.
By 2004 Geo is Resident DJ in Disco Tineretului. All his experience in music and events made Geo da Silva realize that the Romanian clubs need a new concept, and he created the brand Funky DJs. Together with DJ Jungle and then with Chris Mayer, Geo releases the first album in 2004.
The single Stay, from album no.1, was the hit of the seaside in 2004 and Hold the planet Funk and Dance Romania were hear all over the country.
In 2005, Funky DJs release album no.2 with the hit singles Doar tu si eu - Just you and me, Daca tu ai vrea- If you wish and Paradis Rumena. The 3rd album was released in 2007. The singles: Tonight, Follow me, Morning and Righi down animated the club scene.The first solo single carried Geo da Silva’s name all over the world: I’ll do you like a truck has a funky sound and it quickly became a summer hit in Europe, and had record downloads on SoundArea website. Geo da Silva went on a 25 countries tour including the U.K, Italy, U.S.A, France, Germany, Australia, Brazill, Mexico, Argentina.
The song featured in the NBC TV show “The Office” and also in the popular series “Lakys o Glykoulis” on Mega Channel.
Traveling all over the world, Geo da SIlva had te inspiration for a new party concept Juerga Loca. The show fascinated the clubbers in locations like: Ring Disco - Costinesti, Bamboo Mamaia, Club Es Paradis Ibiza, Club Plitvice Serbia.
The music of Geo da Silva animated parties all over the world, and the show isn’t over yet!
