Kamelia is one of Romania’s youngest talents. She released the first album at age 15, and continued two years later with a compliation of international cover songs.
At the beginig of her career Kamelia competed in music contest such as Megastar in 2007 and Eurovision in 2009.
The same year Kamelia released the first video featuring the hip hop artist Puya, called Change. The song went straight to no.1, and won Best Song 2009 at Romanian Music Awards.
The second song featuring Puya is called V.I.P and Kamelia becomes the most popular female voice on the music charts of 2010.
After conquering Hip Hop, it was time to mix it up. In 2011 Kamelia releases the first solo tracks Dreamin and Come Again, both with strong dance influences.
On 5 of september 2011, a brand new single was released on her Birthday. Prima Oara- First Time.
The single came as a breath of fresh air on the music scene of 2011, and had over 1.000.000 views a month since it’s release on youtube.
Kamelia’s music often has different influences such as r&b, dance and house as she likes to bring something new with each new release.
