Morris started his professional career as an actor but soon discovered that his love for music was stronger. He worked as a DJ in Bucharest and developed his own unique style. In 2008 he met with singers and producers Play&Win. For them it was clear that the talent of Morris can’t be ignored and a new project was born.
The first song Till the morning light was released in octomber the same year. On vibe FM it was played daily and soon after the song was loved by an entire country. It was clear from the first song that Morris would make a big difference on the dance music scene, and so it was.
As proof that he is here to stay, Morris released in 2009 the second single Desire. The song was released on tv in january and climbed quickly in the top 10 Dance. Desire was a hit not only in Romania but also opened the way for Morris in countries like Russia, Poland and Bulgaria. Morris has international success not only with Desire but also with the club hits Lost, Angel eyes, Running and Havana Lover and over time the songs became hits in Spain and Greece.
In 2009 Morris was winner of Best Male at the Romanian Music Awards and nominated for Romania Top Hits.
The latest release is Because of you, that for Morris means a brand new sound. Closer to the foreign club music it also has oriental influences that make it unique.
Morris was a big influence in the Romanian dance scene as it introduced club music to the radios and started a new trend that keeps the clubbers dancing till the morning light.
