Tony Ray was born on August 27, 1982 in Romania.He graduated the College of Informatics Grigore Moisil in Iasi. First contact with music was at 7 when he started the Roman School of Music in violin section. He participated at a series of interpretation contests ,winning several awards. In 2002 hestarted Faculty of Composition and Musicology from the University George Enescu Iasi ,in 2004 began working as a producer for UNITED MEDIA MUSIC (Studios K1) which produces songs for many artists in the Romanian show biz including: Lavinia, Anda Adam Andra, Laguna, Double D, Romania, Hora, Groove. During this time he compose Cand Noaptea Vine for girls from Laguna and the track As Zbura for Lavinia ,nominated for MTV Best New Act category in 2006. Among the prizes at music festivals he gets: Light Music Festival Prize Craiova (2003), Light Music Festival Prize Gaudeamus Brasov (2004), first prize composition of dance music festival Gaudeamus Brasov (2005). After graduated from Composition and Musicology, Tony Ray founded his own or studio in Bucharest. In 2008 Ray co-produces at the Awa Records studio album the LP of Adriana Rusu, composing the song Viata Merge Mai Departe which was broadcast on radio and specialty television. Also in 2008 Tony Ray started working with Costi Ionita composing the song Can you forgive , participating in Eurovision 2009 finals. At the same time he began working on their album with 10 songs, the album will come to market soon. In 2009 he breaks the box office with the smash hit Geisha and his own version of MJ's Billie Jean.
